Mission Statement
The Slave Lake Motocross Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and well-maintained riding environment for motocross and off-road motorcycle riders of all levels.

Our Story
The Slave Lake Motocross Association was founded in 2021 by a group of local volunteers and motocross enthusiasts with one goal — bring the legendary Flat Top track back to life.
The original Flat Top track had been a fixture of the Slave Lake riding community since the mid-1980s and was a favourite among motocross riders from across Alberta. After the track was abandoned in 2012, the land grew over and sat unused for nearly a decade.
Our group secured a new lease on the land, and with generous support from local businesses, we spent a full year clearing the site and rebuilding the track from the ground up. In the spring of 2022, we officially reopened.
Since then, we've continued to upgrade the facility — refining jumps, adjusting the track layout, and adding a dedicated 50cc beginner section to give our youngest riders a safe place to learn. We've hosted races with the PMA and AVMX, and continue to welcome AVMX events. We also run an annual riding school open to all skill levels.
We're proud of what this community has built, and we welcome new members and day riders to come see it for themselves.
